Gender Equality Program resources

In June 2020, the Indigenous Innovation Initiative launched the inaugural Advancing Indigenous Gender Equality through Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship Program (or the Gender Equality Program). We received 246 applications and 238 were eligible. These eligible applications came from 115 distinct communities across Canada - for 5 provinces and all territories, the percentage of applications received aligns to the distribution of Indigenous peoples in Canada in those regions.
